Niger airport attack, DRC referendum, US-Iran agreement and EU migration policy

On the agenda: the Support Group for Islam and Muslims (Jnim) claimed responsibility for Thursday’s attack on Niamey airport, six months after an initial assault by the Islamic State. In the Democratic Republic of Congo, following its adoption by the National Assembly in early June, the Senate has also approved a bill regulating the organisation of referendums for a constitutional revision. This reform opens the door to a third presidential term.
