The heated dispute between Waly Diouf Bodian and Madiambal Diagne has escalated following a contentious publication concerning Ousmane Sonko. Accusing the journalist of being an accomplished fabulist, Bodian hints at an exciting new chapter in Senegal’s media influence struggle.
The verbal sparring between Waly Diouf Bodian and Madiambal Diagne has intensified once again.
Responding to a recent piece by Madiambal Diagne concerning Ousmane Sonko, the Director of the Autonomous Port of Dakar did not hold back his criticism.
In a particularly scathing rebuke, Waly Diouf Bodian accused the journalist of disseminating inaccurate information and fabricating imaginative narratives.
“Madiambal, an accomplished mythomaniac, has once again concocted a story, a skill only he possesses,” Bodian asserted.
Continuing his sharp remarks, he added, “The elusive figure exhibits a diabolical knack for spreading sheer nonsense. He would undoubtedly excel as a screenwriter for fantastical motion pictures.”
This latest exchange of barbs further fuels the ongoing tensions between certain government figures and the journalist, who remains a prominent voice in Senegal’s public discourse.
