On Sunday, May 24, 2026, in the afternoon, a show of solidarity unfolded in Baga-Sola as young activists from the Lake Region Youth Associations Coordination (CADELAC) rallied behind the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) in their relentless campaign against Boko Haram.
Speaking before local officials, CADELAC coordinator Mahamat Adam Moustapha first extended heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the recent attacks in Barka Tollorom. He then praised the extraordinary sacrifices made by the FDS to uphold peace and reaffirmed the youth’s commitment to vigilance and community-driven mobilization.
In a modest yet meaningful gesture, the CADELAC delegation presented five 50 kg bags of rice and ten cartons of pasta to the security personnel. The coordinator emphasized that this contribution reflects the unwavering resolve of a resilient generation to stand firmly behind those safeguarding stability in the Lake Province.
