During a courtesy visit in New York, Omar Hilale, Morocco’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and current Chair of the UN Peacebuilding Commission, welcomed Leonor Zalabata Torres, Colombia’s Ambassador to the UN and President of the Security Council for June 2026. The meeting highlighted the importance of diplomatic engagement in advancing collective security goals.
