Long confined to the realm of sports, the International Mountain Bike (VTT) Race Chantal Biya (named after the wife of President Paul Biya) is now taking a strategic turn. For its third edition, the event aims to establish itself as a tool for territorial economic attractiveness. On 29 June 2026, in Bertoua, the regional capital of eastern Cameroon, the race will showcase more than athletic prowess.
