Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, met Wednesday in Rabat with Crispin Mbadu Phanzu, Deputy Minister to the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, in charge of La Francophonie and Congolese Abroad of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The DRC envoy was carrying a message from President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo addressed to King Mohammed VI. During a press briefing after the meeting, Mbadu Phanzu highlighted the strong bilateral cooperation between Morocco and the DRC, rooted in a long shared history. He explained that his visit to the Kingdom focuses on promoting his country’s candidacy for the Secretary-General position of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF).
