Ambassador Baja elaborated on the rich historical trajectory shared by Morocco and the Philippines. This journey has been distinguished by frequent high-level exchanges, the signing of numerous bilateral agreements, and the cultivation of robust human-to-human connections. He views these established bonds as vital “foundations for the next fifty years of cooperative endeavors.”
From an economic standpoint, the Philippine diplomat noted a remarkable surge in bilateral commercial exchanges over recent years. While trade between the two countries has witnessed an impressive increase of approximately 50%, he acknowledged that current figures still fall short of both nations’ full expectations.
