Laborex Tchad marks three decades of lifesaving medicine distribution

Laborex Tchad, a subsidiary of the CFAO Healthcare group, commemorated its three decades of excellence in pharmaceutical distribution across Chad on May 28. The milestone event highlighted the company’s pivotal role in ensuring consistent access to essential medicines and medical supplies for healthcare facilities nationwide.

Established in 1996, Laborex Tchad has spent the past 30 years supporting Chad’s healthcare system by supplying pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and health centers with high-quality pharmaceutical products. Its reach spans major cities such as N’Djamena, Moundou, Sarh, Abéché, and Bongor, as well as smaller towns across the country.

The celebration featured speeches from key figures, including the Chair of the Board, Ms. Ngarmbatina Sou IV, and Mr. Sébastien Roux, Deputy Zone Director of CFAO Healthcare.

In her address, Ms. Ngarmbatina expressed deep gratitude to the Chadian authorities for their unwavering support throughout Laborex Tchad’s journey. She also acknowledged the trust placed in the company by financial partners, pharmacists, pharmaceutical distributors, hospitals, and all its clients.

« You haven’t chosen Laborex Tchad out of routine, but because of the trust you place in us. Professionalism defines our mission: delivering the right medication to the right place at the right time, ensuring every patient receives the care they need, » she emphasized.

With a touch of emotion, she added, « Thirty years is a milestone, but we’re just getting started—there’s at least 70 more ahead. »

Mr. Sébastien Roux reflected on his 24-year journey with CFAO Healthcare, praising Laborex Tchad’s enduring legacy. He paid tribute to former leaders, including Ms. Maria Mion Calvet, and commended the company’s current leadership under General Manager Ms. Tignocqua.

« Laborex is a company with deep roots, yet it remains youthful thanks to its dedicated team, » he noted.

He also recognized the Ministry of Public Health for its close collaboration, as well as partner laboratories, financial institutions, and employees for their relentless commitment.

« It’s because of your collective efforts that we can guarantee reliable pharmaceutical supplies across Chad, » he stated.

The event concluded on a vibrant note, filled with traditional rhythms from the balafon, an instrument that resonated strongly with attendees.
