The second day of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 advisory group meeting, focused on investors, took place on July 9, 2026, in Abidjan at the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire, under the leadership of Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé.

“This marks a pivotal moment in our advisory group dedicated to investment, business, and value creation,” declared the Prime Minister. “Our goal is clear: to mobilize private investments essential for turning this development vision into reality.” He highlighted the strong turnout of over 700 investors from friendly nations.

Addressing a packed audience of business leaders, investors, and private sector representatives who traveled to Abidjan, the Head of Government emphasized that this gathering serves as a vital platform for dialogue with private sector stakeholders. It also aims to align on a shared development vision.

“Your commitment alongside us reflects the confidence you place in Côte d’Ivoire’s economic outlook and its growth potential,” he told the investors. “You are key partners in realizing our ambition to build a more competitive, job-creating economy.” He stressed that the success of this ambition hinges on the private sector’s ability to invest.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to making the private sector the driving force behind Côte d’Ivoire’s economic transformation. He assured investors that the country’s economy has consistently demonstrated resilience and adaptability, achieving an average growth rate of 6.5% over recent years. This positions Côte d’Ivoire among the continent’s most dynamic economies.

“Today, you are presented with a rapidly expanding market,” he stated. “The day’s initiatives will accelerate investments in priority sectors of the PND 2026-2030, including industrialization and local processing of raw materials to boost value addition, strategic infrastructure development—particularly in transport, digital technology, and logistics—to enhance competitiveness and economic attractiveness, and investments in human capital, innovation, and essential services to foster a more productive and inclusive economy.”

Robert Beugré Mambé noted that the first day of the advisory group, dedicated to institutional partners and the presentation of Côte d’Ivoire’s development strategy, attracted over 3,000 participants from 49 countries, including Côte d’Ivoire.

In response, leaders from the business community echoed their confidence in the Ivorian authorities’ vision. Ahmed Cissé, President of the General Confederation of Ivorian Enterprises (CGECI), Mehdi Tazi, President of the Africa Committee of the French Business Movement (MEDEF), and Mohamed Gouled, Vice-President of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), all pledged substantial financial commitments. They expressed readiness to play a full role in implementing the PND 2026-2030.
