Over 700 investors from partner nations gathered to explore private investment opportunities aligned with the country’s ambitious economic transformation agenda.

The Prime Minister emphasized that this gathering marked a critical milestone in mobilizing private capital to drive the PND forward. « This second session focuses on unlocking private investment to fuel our development aspirations, » he stated. « We are delighted to welcome over 700 investors who have traveled from friendly nations to contribute to this vision. »

The event brought together business leaders, investors, and private sector representatives who traveled to Abidjan to engage in high-level discussions with government officials. The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of this dialogue in fostering a shared vision for Côte d’Ivoire’s economic future.

« Your commitment alongside us reflects the confidence you place in our nation’s economic potential and growth trajectory, » he told the assembled investors. « As key partners, you are instrumental in turning our vision into reality—a more competitive, job-creating economy. Prime Minister Mambé underscored the government’s commitment to positioning the private sector as the engine of economic transformation. He pointed to Côte d’Ivoire’s proven economic resilience, citing an average growth rate of 6.5% over recent years, which has solidified its reputation as one of Africa’s most dynamic economies.

« Today, you have access to a rapidly expanding market with unparalleled opportunities, » he noted. « This session will accelerate investments in priority sectors outlined in the PND 2026-2030, including industrialization, local processing of raw materials to boost value addition, and strategic infrastructure development in transportation, digital technology, and logistics. These investments will enhance our competitiveness and appeal while strengthening human capital, innovation, and essential services for a more productive and inclusive economy. »

The Prime Minister also shared that the first day of the consultative group, focused on institutional partners and the presentation of Côte d’Ivoire’s development strategy, had already attracted over 3,000 participants from 49 countries, including Côte d’Ivoire itself.
