Chad’s supreme court schedules Succès Masra case for may 21 2026 hearing
The judicial landscape in Chad has shifted with a fresh development in the case involving prominent political figure Succès Masra. The Judicial Chamber of the Supreme Court has officially listed the matter for consideration during the public hearing of the 2nd Criminal Section scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 9:00 AM.
The official notice, signed in N’Djamena on May 19, 2026, by the Section President, Mr. Samir Adam Annour, reveals that case file number 092/25 involves a legal confrontation between Succès Masra and the accused from Mandakao, represented by a defense legal team led by Me Kadjilem-baye Francis. The opposing parties include the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Chadian State, represented by the State Judicial Agency (AJE).
The hearing will center on a cassation appeal filed against Criminal Judgment No. 018/25, issued on August 9, 2025, by the N’Djamena Court of Appeal. The case will be presented by presiding magistrate Amadou Oumarou.
