Chad president concludes UAE state visit, returns to N’Djamena

Chad’s Head of State, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, touched down in N’Djamena late yesterday evening after wrapping up an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.

High-level meetings in Abu Dhabi

During his stay in the Gulf nation, the Chadian leader engaged in two key diplomatic sessions with UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first encounter took place at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, while the second meeting was hosted at the Marshal’s temporary residence.

Warm welcome in the capital

Upon landing, Marshal Déby received a formal reception at N’Djamena International Airport. Welcoming him were Prime Minister Amb. Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of General Staff, multiple government ministers, the State Minister serving as Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Chief of Staff of the Presidential Office, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Special Adviser, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
