President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno returned to N’Djamena following an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, where he held high-level discussions with UAE leadership.

Chad’s Head of State, President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, touched down in N’Djamena late Tuesday evening, concluding a significant official visit to the United Arab Emirates.

During his stay in Abu Dhabi, the Chadian leader engaged in two strategic meetings with UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace, while the second was hosted at the Chadian President’s official residence.

Upon his return, President Déby was received at N’Djamena International Airport by a high-profile delegation including Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, several cabinet ministers, the Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Chief of the Presidential Military Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Private Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
