While the masterminds behind the aborted coup attempt in Benin remain at large, authorities continue their manhunt. However, all hostages, including high-ranking officers, have been safely freed. The incident has prompted neighboring countries in the region to rally behind Benin, offering critical support—primarily military assistance—to strengthen regional stability.
