After weeks of anticipation, candidates for the 2026 session of the Certificat d’Études Primaires (CEP) will discover their academic fate this Friday. The official deliberation of results is scheduled to commence at 10:30 AM for the 286,995 students who participated in the examinations nationwide.

The moment of truth is approaching for students across Bénin who sat for the 2026 Certificat d’Études Primaires (CEP) examinations. The final results are scheduled to be announced this Friday, commencing at 10:30 AM. A total of 286,995 hopefuls participated in the rigorous tests, which took place from June 1st to 4th across the entire national territory. This cohort included 149,424 boys and 138,571 girls, all distributed among 860 examination centers.

This year, the official launch of the examination period was held at the Gbofoly public primary school, located in the Aplahoué commune. Notably, the 2026 session also saw the participation of 97 candidates with special needs, including 36 girls, who were accommodated in 13 dedicated centers to ensure equitable access.

According to the latest statistics available, the total number of candidates for this session increased by 5.56% compared to the previous year, reflecting a growing engagement in primary education across Bénin.

As the deliberation day arrives this Friday, thousands of students and their families eagerly await the CEP 2026 results. These outcomes will not only mark the conclusion of their primary educational journey but also signify the gateway to their secondary schooling and future academic pursuits.
