Bénin electoral commission officials train in India on AI for elections

A team of officials from Benin’s Independent National Electoral Commission (CENA) are currently in New Delhi, India, for a five-day intensive training program focused on the integration of artificial intelligence into electoral processes.

The session, running from July 6th to 10th, 2026, is being conducted by the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) program. Its primary goal is to equip Beninese electoral officials with cutting-edge skills to enhance election administration through AI-powered solutions.
