Trade minister Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana has announced a special promotional sales operation in Yaoundé.
The initiative, led by the Ministry of Trade, will run for several weeks at the Boulevard du 20 Mai.
Specifically, the promotional sale on high-demand consumer products is scheduled from 22 June to 30 September 2026 at the Boulevard du 20 Mai site.
“This event, carried out in partnership with responsible businesses, is fully aligned with the government’s policy to combat the high cost of living. It aims, on one hand, to bolster the purchasing power of families during the long holidays and, on the other, to support parents preparing for the 2026-2027 school year by making school supplies available at affordable prices,” the Ministry of Trade stated.
Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana added that “beyond Yaoundé and its surroundings, as well as other major cities, this operation is designed to expand across the entire national territory, notably through itinerant promotional caravans.”
