Gennaro gattuso takes the reins as new lazio head coach

Lazio has officially announced the appointment of Gennaro Gattuso as their new head coach this Tuesday. The former Italy national team manager, a highly respected figure and a celebrated midfielder during his playing career, is set to make his return to Serie A. This move follows Gattuso’s recent tenure where he narrowly missed guiding the Italian national squad to qualification for the 2026 World Cup. He is well-acquainted with the demands of top-tier Italian football, having previously managed Napoli between 2019 and 2021.
