Burkina Faso’s sié frédéric kambou honored for impactful health reporting

The 29th edition of the Galian Awards, held in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, on Friday, June 19, 2026, once again shined a spotlight on outstanding journalistic achievements. Through extensive fieldwork, Kambou meticulously illuminated the transformative reforms underway within the nation’s health sector. His investigation notably highlighted the successful reduction in costs for various medical examinations and the abolition of deposit requirements for dialysis sessions in public health institutions.
