On Saturday, 20 June 2026, a groundbreaking initiative took off in Douala, Cameroon’s economic hub. Bellaire Travels, a pan-African travel agency accredited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), officially launched its operations. The goal is to transform the travel experience by making it smoother, more personal, and inspiring for both business and leisure travellers.
Daniel Moussima, founder and CEO of Bellaire Travels, addressed the audience, sharing his vision to conquer the global market. “Today is a big day! This marks the beginning of a new era. Our aim is to provide Cameroonians with seamless travel services and unite everyone under one project to take on the world,” he declared.
According to the young entrepreneur, every Cameroonian should be able to find a brand they can identify with. “Bellaire Travels is here to revolutionise and revitalise the travel industry,” Moussima added. The event was held under the patronage of Samuel Dieudonné Ivaha Diboua, governor of the Littoral region, represented by his regional development division chief, Nicoline Ebune.
Nicoline Ebune
Taking the floor, Nicoline Ebune highlighted that this commendable initiative reflects the dynamism of Cameroon’s entrepreneurial landscape and demonstrates investors’ commitment to boosting the economy. She noted that “the tourism, services, and international mobility sector now plays a crucial role in modern economies, fostering exchanges between peoples.” Ebune also expressed encouragement at the rise of private initiatives investing in this field and adopting “solutions tailored to the needs of individuals, companies, and institutions.”
