Acting on directives from President Captain Ibrahim Traoré, Minister of Security Mahamadou Sana embarked on a crucial tour of Nayala province this Sunday. The primary objective was to thoroughly assess the evolving security landscape, bolster the morale of forces operating on the ground, and directly address the pressing concerns voiced by local communities.
This vital mission underscored the government’s commitment to understanding the dynamic security situation firsthand, offering encouragement to dedicated personnel, and actively listening to the needs of the populace.
Flanked by the governor of the Bankui region and key local administrative officials, Minister Sana commenced his engagements by meeting with the respected customary authorities in Toma. Subsequently, he held discussions with provincial administrative leaders and heads of various public services.
Our discussions revealed several persistent challenges impacting critical sectors such as health and education. Furthermore, difficulties related to the mobility of public agents within certain localities were brought to the forefront.
Throughout his extensive tour, Mahamadou Sana also convened with the Forces de défense et de sécurité (FDS), Volontaires pour la défense de la patrie (VDP), Dozos, and other vital community stakeholders across the province.
