According to officials from Taïwan‘s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Moroccan embassy in Japan recently notified Taiwanese travel agencies of the abrupt halt in visa confirmation requests. This directive, reportedly extended to all Moroccan embassies and consulates worldwide, has left many travelers stranded and business dealings in limbo. In response, Taïwan has implemented an immediate freeze on visa applications from Moroccan citizens, with exceptions only for those holding special permits.
