Morocco secures funding talks for Nigeria-Morocco gas pipeline project

Rabat is stepping up efforts to secure crucial financing for the Atlantic African Gas Pipeline (GAA), a collaborative initiative between Morocco and Nigeria. The project, which aims to connect West African gas reserves to international markets, has prompted Moroccan authorities to seek $26 billion in funds from the US Export-Import Bank and the World Bank, according to Ambassador Youssef Amrani of Morocco to the United States.
