Khardiata Tandian’s detention extended in forged signature case

The public prosecutor strongly opposed the request, asserting that granting provisional release would disrupt public order. The prosecution argued that Khardiata Tandian did not provide sufficient guarantees to ensure her presence throughout the trial, leaving doubts about her compliance with judicial procedures.

After considering both sides, the court upheld the prosecutor’s objections, rejecting the motion for provisional release. Khardiata Tandian will remain in custody until the next hearing on July 23, when the tribunal is expected to deliver its verdict.

Case hinges on the presence of the alleged accomplice
