Upon landing at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport, the Gabonese Head of State was greeted by Côte d’Ivoire’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nialé Kaba. High-ranking government officials, diplomats, and members of the Gabonese community in Côte d’Ivoire were also present to welcome him.

Following diplomatic protocol for heads of state, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema received a military salute upon disembarking from his aircraft. Gabon’s Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire, Fabrice Boussougou Boussougou, was among those present to receive the President, alongside numerous Gabonese nationals who turned out to express their support.
