The Côte d’Ivoire is preparing a language policy to value its national languages and improve the quality of education. The government has organized an atelier to present research results and validate the project, which aims to create a reference framework for better integration of national languages in education.
At the event, representatives from various sectors, experts, and partners discussed how language policy can contribute to improving education quality, reducing inequalities, and promoting inclusion. They also emphasized the importance of preserving linguistic diversity as a cultural heritage.
