The Republic of Burundi has, once again, affirmed its steadfast and unwavering commitment to Morocco’s territorial integrity and its full sovereignty across all its lands, specifically including the Sahara region.
This resolute stance was formally communicated in a joint statement issued following crucial discussions between Édouard Bizimana, Burundi’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration, and Development Cooperation, and his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita, who serves as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates.
