Bénin’s electoral commission explores AI for transparent voting systems
A delegation from Bénin’s autonomous national electoral commission (CENA) is undergoing specialized training in New Delhi this week to master artificial intelligence applications for electoral processes.
From July 6 to 10, 2026, CENA officials are attending an intensive program hosted by the India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) framework. The curriculum focuses on integrating AI tools to enhance election administration, digital governance, and risk management while addressing ethical and legal considerations.
