On May 7, 2026, Faure Gnassingbé, serving as President of the Council and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, carried out a crucial visit to the Operation Koundjoaré area, situated in northern Togo. During this important mission, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces participated in an operational briefing at the Command Post before proceeding to the advanced outpost of Tchamonga, a key strategic location within the comprehensive security framework.
