Mali offers up to 2 billion cfa for tips on terror suspects

The Malian government has unveiled a financial incentive ranging from 500 million to 2 billion West African CFA francs for credible and actionable information leading to the arrest or neutralization of seven individuals suspected of terrorism-related activities.

The announcement, made public by the Ministry of Security and Civil Protection, was signed by General Daoud Aly Mohammedine, underscoring the state’s intensified efforts to combat terrorism and safeguard national security.

These individuals are accused of involvement in planning, organizing, or executing attacks that have endangered both civilian lives and property across Mali. The list includes prominent figures such as Iyad Ag Ghali, also known as Abou Al-Fadel; Hamadoun Hassan Sangaré, alias Amadou Kouffa or Môbbô; and Abdoulaye Mamadou Bakaye Diallo, referred to as Jouleybib de Nampala or Sidi. Others include Alghabass Ag Intalla, Sedan Ag Hita (with aliases Outhman Al Ansari, Abdel Hakim Al Kidali, and Al Qayrawani), Bilal Ag Acherif, and Abderrahmane Al-Batna Al-Jazairi.

The government emphasized that these suspects are actively being pursued due to their alleged roles in recent terrorist operations within Mali. Authorities have called on the public to remain vigilant and collaborate closely with security forces, urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in their capture or elimination.

This initiative coincides with ongoing military operations aimed at dismantling armed terrorist groups across multiple regions in the country.
