Brigadier General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor visited Chad-CAR joint force soldiers wounded near Korbol, emphasizing urgent evacuation to N’Djamena for advanced medical care.
The commander of the Chad-Central African Republic (CAR) joint force, Brigadier General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor, recently extended his support to soldiers wounded in the Korbol department. On Sunday, May 10, 2026, General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor, leading the Chad-CAR joint force, made a compassionate visit to Sarh Outel Bono Provincial Hospital. His purpose was to convey vital support to military personnel injured during recent skirmishes in the Korbol department, which occurred the preceding Thursday.
The primary objective of this visit was to ascertain the medical condition of the two soldiers who sustained injuries during an armed assault reported in the area last Thursday. Among the casualties were Sergeant Allahguernganye Diro Martial, 36, who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, and Corporal-Chief Djimet Issakah Dane, who sustained a fractured left leg from incoming fire.
While initially receiving care at Sarh Provincial Hospital, both servicemen exhibited injuries that clearly demanded more specialized medical attention. Following discussions with the attending physicians and nursing staff, General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor promptly requested their swift medical evacuation to N’Djamena, anticipating enhanced specialized care. Dr. Sayambaye Alladoumdjim, the Deputy Director of Sarh Provincial Hospital, commended the rapid response of the defense and security forces in organizing the transfer of their comrades-in-arms to N’Djamena for appropriate treatment.
Hospital sources confirmed that the urgent medical transfer of both soldiers was successfully executed on the same day. Military authorities are optimistic that this timely action will significantly improve their recovery prospects.
