World Bank brings education, jobs and entrepreneurship open days to Abidjan on 21-22 September 2026

The World Bank Group will host Open Days on 21 and 22 September 2026 at the Patinoire of Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire in Abidjan, dedicated to opportunities in education, training, employment and entrepreneurship.

These open-door days aim to directly connect young Ivorians with the programs, projects and financing opportunities available in Côte d’Ivoire.

Students seeking guidance, recent graduates looking for a first job, project holders, startup founders and young professionals will be able to interact with experts and discover the schemes that can meet their needs.

Discussions will focus on education and training, employment and professional integration, entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as infrastructure and local development projects.

Experts from various programs will be on hand to provide practical information on how to access training and support mechanisms. Entrepreneurs will also share their experiences, successes and the challenges they have faced along the way.

Through these Open Days, the goal is to enable young visitors to leave with concrete information and leads to apply for programs, develop their projects, seek support or expand their professional network.

The event will take place at the Patinoire of Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire. Entry is free and no prior registration is required.

These days will also give the public a better understanding of how international investments contribute to Côte d’Ivoire’s development priorities, particularly in training, skills development and youth employment integration.
