France and Morocco solidify strategic partnerships with 14 comprehensive cooperation agreements

During a two-day official visit to Rabat, France’s Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu and Moroccan officials formalized 14 cooperation agreements spanning key sectors.
These arrangements focus on economic collaboration, security enhancement, migration management, and defense cooperation, signaling a renewed commitment to deepening bilateral relations.
Among the signed documents was a framework agreement dedicated to advancing scientific research collaboration between the two nations.
Prime Minister Lecornu emphasized that France’s visa policy aims to streamline travel for individuals pivotal to the bilateral relationship, including entrepreneurs and students.
His visit underscores France’s intensified efforts to rebuild and reinforce ties with Morocco following a period of diplomatic strain.
