His Majesty the King has approved key changes to the Supreme Council of the Judiciary, reinforcing the institution’s leadership with renewed and new appointments. Among the decisions, Mr. Mohamed Abdennabaoui has been reappointed as First President of the Court of Cassation and designated as the Council’s delegate president for a second term. This follows his prior leadership and underscores the King’s confidence in his judicial expertise.
In addition to this pivotal role, two new members have joined the Council: Mrs. Latifa El Harradji and Mr. Nadir El Moumni, whose appointments reflect the Kingdom’s commitment to judicial excellence and modernization. Their induction brings fresh perspectives to the Council, further aligning its operations with national priorities.
The royal decrees also extended the mandates of Mr. Farid El Bacha, Mr. Mohamed Zouak, and Mr. Mohamed Ennasser for a second term, ensuring continuity in the Council’s strategic direction. These appointments underscore the monarchy’s pivotal role in safeguarding judicial independence while fostering institutional stability.
During a solemn audience, the newly appointed members took their oath of office before His Majesty the King, reaffirming their dedication to upholding justice and serving the nation with integrity.
