Chad peace initiative: Emmanuel Nadingar urges sincere dialogue

The Tchad chapter of the Universal Peace Federation, led by Emmanuel Nadingar, held a press briefing on May 23 at its headquarters in Sabangali, within the third district of N’Djaména.

During the event, the former Prime Minister delivered a powerful message, calling for peace amid escalating global conflicts and the country’s own socio-political challenges.

Nadingar highlighted how violent disputes over resources worldwide often drive communities to close ranks, fostering division rather than cooperation. Turning to Chad’s internal situation, he noted that ‘significant developments have taken place’ without elaborating further.

To counter these pressing challenges, he urged all Chadians to reject ‘sectarianism, isolationism, and acts of violence.’ His solution? A steadfast commitment to peace through active listening and open, transparent dialogue. ‘Only unity among Chadians will give us the strength to overcome the obstacles we face,’ he emphasized.

The Universal Peace Federation, an NGO founded in 2005, now operates in over 190 countries, advocating for harmony and conflict resolution on a global scale.
