Me Félicité Zeifman’s explosive public retort targets Cameroonian philosopher Fridolin Nke.

This sharp criticism emerges amid escalating tensions surrounding the trial of journalist Martinez Zogo’s murder. Me Zeifman, a Parisian barrister, faces relentless smear campaigns and media destabilization orchestrated by outlets and influencers aligned with the defendants’ camp.

Dismissing Fridolin Nke as a “pavement philosopher” and “self-proclaimed discernment expert,” the attorney condemns his public interventions as grotesque and unbecoming of an intellectual. She argues his behavior epitomizes the theatricalization of public discourse, where serious judicial matters devolve into entertainment spectacles.

The erosion of intellectual space is stark: a university-trained philosopher weaponizing his platform against victims’ advocates rather than upholding truth.

“The clownish sacrilege” refers to Cameroon’s media landscape, she asserts, where ludicrous posturing, sterile agitation, and invective supersede moral rigor and justice.

Her full rebuttal:

“Ah, Fridolin Nke—the Pavement Philosopher! (Or how a so-called ‘Discernment Expert’ sinks lower than a constipated goat’s navel) Oh, Fridolin! Cameroon’s Descartes, the Kant of working-class neighborhoods, the Socrates who swapped hemlock for spit! Who dares attack virtue… only to end up resembling a rabid dog barking at its own reflection in a puddle of urine?

I initially thought some obscure scribe, consumed by the syphilis of bitterness, was waging a smear campaign against a lawyer merely doing her job. Then I saw the signature: Fridolin Nke. And everything clicked. This name! Since when have African thinkers become so… light in the loafers? Have all great minds—creatures of such distinguished ethics—sunk into villainy, excess, and the pathological vice of ‘I’ll drag everything back to pussy’? But a memory surfaced: that blend of tavern grandiloquence and drunken uncle misogyny. That morally hunched figure, tormented by inner demons, intractable in its stupidity, degraded by jealousy. Now I understand…

This boy needs to be shown that greatness is a cultivated habit from childhood—not an episodic pathological inclination like ‘I’ll defend my buddy by calling a woman a whore.’

Dignity doesn’t speak the language of filth… nor that of Discernment Experts who excel only in exposing their own ridiculousness.

The author of this compact, viscous, pestilential, and purulent vomit (to borrow your lexical recycling terms) against a woman can only be a vulgar upstart of words, an extravagant impostor who fancies himself a philosopher because he found a thesaurus and a massive dose of selective outrage.

And to think he’s a ‘Discernment Expert’! What a scam!

When respectable functions (thinking, writing, reflecting) are hijacked by people of lightweight morals, intellectual degradation becomes inevitable… Oh, how this Fridolin breed so outrageously mocks reason!

Fridolin Nke: Expert in Discernment… and in involuntary self-mockery.

The true clownish sacrilege.”
