The general assembly elected a new board of directors with 27 members and an executive bureau of 12 members. These bodies represent all sector stakeholders, both public and private.
During the extraordinary general assembly, members reviewed and approved the association’s moral and financial reports. They also passed a resolution to amend AMEPA’s statutes. The amendments aim to adapt to changes in Morocco’s water sector and strengthen activities, particularly regarding industrial sovereignty.

Founded in 1997, AMEPA now brings together over 95 active members. Its membership includes public and private operators, regional multiservice companies (SRM), concessionaires, as well as industrial firms and engineering companies specialized in drinking water and sanitation.
With this new governance, the association aims to build a more integrated and united ecosystem. The goal is to elevate Moroccan water industry, engineering, and expertise to an excellent level, both nationally and across Africa and the world.
