Niger welcomes Algerian Prime Minister for landmark energy project inauguration
The Prime Minister of Algeria, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, arrived this Wednesday in the Gorou Banda district of Niamey, the capital of the Republic of Niger, to preside over the official inauguration of the Solidarité power plant and mark its transition into full operational status.
This milestone event is part of the Prime Minister’s official visit to Niger, carried out at the instruction of the Algerian President, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
Accompanying Mr. Ghrieb during this important visit were the Algerian Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Mr. Mourad Adjal, and the Director-General of Algeria’s Agency for International Cooperation in Solidarity and Development, Mr. Abed Halouz.
