With the Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal approaching on May 30, cities across Île-de-France are wrestling with the complex security implications of organizing fan zones. Paris itself will not host any public viewing areas.

As the highly anticipated PSG-Arsenal Champions League final draws near on May 30, the question of where fans can gather to watch the match in Île-de-France remains a significant security challenge. Unlike previous years, Paris will not feature any official fan zones. The Parisian police prefecture has expressed its opposition, citing the substantial deployment of law enforcement required for three major concerts scheduled at the Stade de France, La Défense Arena, and the Accor Arena.

Instead, supporters in the capital can experience the game on a giant screen within the Parc des Princes, with tickets available from 19 euros. Numerous local bars and restaurants are also preparing to welcome football enthusiasts.
