Rhdp mankono revitalizes grassroots structures and charts future course

Mankono, Côte d’Ivoire – The departmental secretariat of the Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) for both Mankono commune and sub-prefecture successfully concluded its political comeback on July 17 and 18, 2026. This significant event focused on a thorough review of the 2025 elections, comprehensive training for party activists, and a strategic revitalization of its foundational structures.

Cissé Namory, the RHDP departmental secretary whose political constituency encompasses the entire Mankono area, reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of militants within the Béré region. Their collective dedication, he emphasized, is crucial for strengthening the presidential party’s influence and presence.

Mr. Namory proudly highlighted the RHDP’s decisive victory in the recent legislative elections within his department, secured by the esteemed deputy, Salimata Fofana épouse Méité. However, he also voiced regret regarding instances of indiscipline observed among certain party members, suggesting that such behaviors occasionally received tacit support from various party executives.

“We bear a responsibility to be sincere with our militants to safeguard the cohesion and effectiveness of our political endeavors,” he declared, issuing a firm call for enhanced discipline and unwavering unity within the RHDP ranks.

The political relaunch unfolded with two primary highlights. The initial day featured an introspective seminar titled: “Drawing lessons from the last ballot and defining the trajectory for the new militant cycle.”

During this pivotal occasion, Professor Soro David, the RHDP’s deputy national secretary responsible for political structures, led an insightful conference. His presentation focused on “The contribution of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 to the advancement of the Béré region.”

Professor Soro meticulously detailed the achievements realized in Béré through the PND 2021-2025, before outlining the promising prospects offered by the forthcoming PND 2026-2030. “The Béré region has significantly benefited from the PND 2021-2025 and stands to gain even more with the PND 2026-2030,” he asserted, enumerating numerous planned projects across vital sectors such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure.

Furthermore, Professor Soro commended the steadfast commitment of regional leaders and citizens who stand alongside President Alassane Ouattara. He underscored that their active involvement serves as a powerful catalyst for Béré’s development and strengthens governmental initiatives across this crucial part of the nation.
