The Assemblée nationale President, Ousmane Sonko, has revealed the composition of his cabinet. Several members have already exercised responsibilities within the executive during the period when Sonko was Prime Minister between 2024 and 2026.
Marie Rose Faye has been appointed director of cabinet for the Assemblée nationale President. Additionally, ten special advisors complete this team, including Daouda Ngom, Amadou Moustapha Ndieck Sarre, Khady Diéne Gaye, Alioune Sall, Maïmouna Dièye, Amadou Chérif Diouf, Fatou Diouf, Alpha Ba, Ibrahima Thiam and Sidy Alpha Ndiaye.
This new team is responsible for accompanying the Assemblée nationale President in exercising his functions and implementing his institutional missions.
