Niamey, June 4, 2026 — The Military Prytaneum of Niamey (PMN) celebrated its most outstanding students during a prestigious awards ceremony on Thursday, marking the conclusion of the 2025-2026 academic year. Under the distinguished patronage of Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, General of Division Salaou Barmou, the event shone a spotlight on the academic achievements of the young cadets who excelled throughout the school year.
The ceremony honored students who secured first place in every grade, from sixth grade to twelfth grade. The event drew a distinguished audience, including members of the National Council for the Safeguard of the Homeland (CNSP), the Vice-President of the Council for the Refoundation Consultation (CCR), accredited diplomatic and consular representatives in Niger, the Governor of the Niamey region, leaders from the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), as well as proud parents and guests.
