Satellite imagery has revealed that Morocco’s Royal Armed Forces have begun fielding the Bayraktar Akıncı drone, a high-altitude long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle from Turkish manufacturer Baykar. The images, captured at the sixth air base in Ben Guerir, confirm the arrival and integration of these advanced systems.
The same satellite evidence shows that the Akıncı drones were received by Morocco during early last year and have been stationed at Ben Guerir, where they now join the Bayraktar TB2 drones already in service.
